About these works
David's love of ships and the sea was inherited from his father. Having been brought up in the North of England, near Liverpool's River Mersey, a very busy port during the 1950s and 60s, David has drawn and painted ships from a very early age. He has developed a sensitivity and passion that has been recognised and exhibited in London by the Royal Society of Marine Artists at The Mall Gallery.
