About these works
This series grew from David's fascination with the beautiful, ever–changing images reflected in the mirrored glass of the many tower buildings “growing from the desert” in Dubai where he lived. He started photographing these images (which often reflected other buildings) and then one day started painting sections of them as semi–abstract works of art. This fascination took him round the world to New Zealand, UK and Australia.
