David's new direction “morphs” onto one canvas, all of the different approaches and styles he has developed to date. Living on the harbour next to Sydney's “colourful” King's Cross area, David is inspired to paint whoever and whatever captures his imagination. Sometimes he uses photo–realism and sometimes he takes his subjects out of their usual context to develop complex, surreal images. “The Cross” offers David a rich abundance of subject matter for his unique paintings that challenge those who view his work to interpret these images.
